The Local Palate, in partnership with Breakthru Beverage, welcomes the world’s top whiskey ambassadors to Charleston for the sixth annual Whiskey After Dark on Wednesday, October 16, 2019.
Event Details
Sample more than one hundred whiskeys, including bourbons and scotches, as well as craft beer at the Cedar Room in downtown Charleston.
The event will host some of the South's best pitmasters—because what pairs better with firewater than a little smoke? Feast on an array of barbecue styles including old-fashioned whole hog bbq, ribs, smoked turkey and more from Sam Jones BBQ, Southern Soul Barbeque, Rodney Scott's BBQ, and Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint.
Doors open for general admission at 7:30 pm for an all-inclusive oak and smoke celebration. VIP ticket holders are invited to arrive early at 6:30 pm for early access and whiskey-blended cocktails.
A portion of proceeds will benefit Charleston Animal Society.
