This year 50 of the best homebrewers from across the Lowcountry will brew their favorite wheat beer to sample during our 3rd-anniversary party, Chucktown Brewdown.
Event Details
(Types of wheat beer: American Wheat, Hefeweizen, Dunkelweizen, Weizenbock, Belgian Witbier, Fruit Wheat Beer, or Wheatwine)
Guests can sample over 100 beers, talk with the homebrewers, listen to live music, play games on the patio, and enjoy a pint of Fam’s Brewing Co’s 3rd-anniversary beer and some pizza.
Attendees will also get to vote for their favorite wheat beer. The homebrewing team, with the most votes, will win the coveted People’s Choice Award.
At the end of the festival, Fam’s Brewing Co. will award the judges choice for best wheat beer. The winning homebrewer will join their head brewer to make their beer on their professional system, and placed on tap at the brewery along with other prizes.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday Feb. 18, 2020 at 10am.
