This enchanting musical production is based on famous Welsh poet Dylan Thomas' 1955 beloved radio story A Child’s Christmas in Wales. The show shares Thomas’ memories of an old fashioned Christmas, from snow ball fights, delights of opening presents and singing carols, to some wild adventures in the village. The highly acclaimed and engaging Christmas memoir is full of humorous and poignant anecdotes of long ago woven together with classical music. Starring Broadway and film veteran actor, Clarence Felder, as Dylan Thomas, supported by musicians from Chamber Music Charleston.
MENU: Beef short ribs with pan gravy, hash brown casserole, roasted seasonal vegetables glazed with aged balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil & sea salt, field of greens salad, dinner rolls, and caramel fudge pecan cake

ABOUT OUR DINNER THEATRE SERIESThe City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Department hosts seasonal Dinner Theatre presentations, which have proven to be a popular program for couples and groups. Guests are served a candlelit dinner, then sit back to watch lively productions by professional performing artists. Presentations take place on Thursday evenings in Montague Terrace at the North Charleston Coliseum, located at 5001 Coliseum Drive in North Charleston. Meals are catered by Centerplate and served buffet style.
