Event Details
This evening of music and romance begins with a concert of Baroque chamber music for harpsichord, violin, and voice followed by a talk offering glimpses into the romantic side of Bach (which, it turns out, was pretty lively). Our speaker is Pulitzer Prize-finalist, scholar Christoph Wolff, author of the New York Times best-selling biography, Johann Sebastian Bach: The Learned Musician.
The program concludes with a book signing and reception featuring European wines, cheeses, and confections. Delightful in itself, this event is an amuse bouche for the Bach Society’s upcoming spring festival of Baroque music, March 8-10.
