Magnolia Plantation and Gardens invites you to enjoy a Wine & Chocolate Walk through America’s oldest romantic-style garden from 11 am – 3pm on Saturday & Sunday, February 8th & 9th.

If you have attended our Chocolate Walk in the past, you definitely won’t want to miss this year’s event!
Begin in the Conservatory where you will pick up your passport, souvenir wine glass and your first wine sampling before you stroll to 9 different areas of the gardens that will be transformed into a different country. Enjoy live music, sample beer & wine, and taste decadent desserts while your passport guides you throughout our sprawling gardens along the Ashley River.
If you want to indulge in chocolate only, the event is free with paid garden admission.
If you would like to purchase a wine and beer ticket, there will be an additional $6 charge. This ticket includes a souvenir wine glass, 5 wine and beer tastings, and all of the country themed sweets!
*WORKSHOPS*
In conjunction with our Wine and Chocolate walk, our garden center will be hosting two great programs. Both will be held at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
February 8th- "Camellias-The Lowcountry's Winter Roses"
Kate White unveils the secrets to keeping these Southern beauties thriving in your garden.
February 9th-" Bouquets for romance and love"
Laura Dubato uses the language of flowers to create bouquets that have traditional sentimental meanings and are symbolic of love and romance throughout the generations.
If you are a member, there will be a $5 charge to participate in the chocolate walk and $11 to do both the chocolate and wine. Complimentary passes and reciprocal passes will not be accepted for this special event. The event will be held rain or shine. Participants must be 21+ to consume alcohol.
