June 10-14, 2019 from 9am-noon - a morning 'summer camp' one week-long Monday-Friday program. Note: we are also offering the same class in July- click HERE to register for July dates instead.
Event Details
Game On! is a code/gaming education program geared toward middle and high school students who would like to learn the practice of game design and development. The Game On! course:
Helps students discover a passion for game design, computer science and coding
Introduces middle and high school students to the world of game development
Gets students excited about a potential career path in the high-wage, tech industry

FAQs
What do I need to bring into the event?
This class is BYOL (Bring Your Own Laptop) - PC works best, but Mac will work.
Do I need to have any specific programs/apps installed prior?
Laptop should have PowerPoint installed, or as an alternative WPS Office Free.
Can I bring food/drink into the event?
Your student can bring a spill-proof water bottle that is kept closed while at the table. If your student has snacks, they need to be kept in their own bag/backpack and consumed while on break; if for health reasons, let the instructor know.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
When you register: please enter your own name and info for payment. We will email you that we received confirmation of your registration and ask for the attendee's name and age.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we will have a list for check-in.
Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Game On! is geared towards middle school and high school age kids.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Most will be drop-off and pick-up. If you do park, the lot is paid parking starting at 11am, kiosk at front of building.
