The City of Charleston will host the Annual First Day Festival on Sunday, August 18, from 1:00-4:00 pm, at Liberty Square, The South Carolina Aquarium and Gadsdenboro Park.

The City of Charleston will host the Annual First Day Festival on Sunday, August 18, from 1:00-4:00 pm, at Liberty Square, The South Carolina Aquarium and Gadsdenboro Park. The First Day Festival is a celebration of education and provides children and families with information on educational services in the community, as well as a fun day together.
Highlights of the Festival include:
Free admission to the SC Aquarium during the hours of the Festival (and 1 extra hour to 5:00 pm.)
Healthy Food Samples
Kids Zone activities
Boat Rides
Free school supplies
$1 parking at the SC Aquarium Garage & Gaillard Garage
The Festival hours are 1:00-4:00 p.m. and school supplies are available while they last.
