Did you know that September 22 is Hobbit Day? It’s the birthday of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins! We are celebrating with our fourth annual Hobbit Day 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2. The medal has a quote from Gandalf that says, “I found it is small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay…small acts of kindness and love.”
September is also Leukemia and Lymphoma Awareness Month, so we will be donating at least 15% of every registration to Be The Match, “for the thousands of people diagnosed every year with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, a cure exists. Over the past 25 years Be The Match ® , operated by the National Marrow Donor Program ® (NMDP), has managed the largest and most diverse marrow registry in the world. We work every day to save lives through transplant.”

What: This is a 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1 or 26.2 virtual run (or walk) to honor hobbits! You choose which distance you want to complete.
When: Complete your race any time in September. Even better if it’s September 22nd!
