Description
This camp, hosted by Ms. Beth Green (Music/Drama Instructor) and Mrs. Kelly Knight (Art Instructor) serves as an introduction to the elements of show production and scene-work, set-design, creation and decoration.
Event Details
It culminates in an end-of-the-week performance, with each child featured in a speaking and/or singing role.
No audtions are required; each child is automatically cast in the show. Each child (readers and non-readers alike) will receive a script and a script-learning MP3 that is recorded for them, providing two methods to learn their lines: reading and listening. This levels the proverbial "PLAY-ing field" and allows all children, regardless of age or reading prowess, to be ACTive in the play!
Outdoor play and lots of musical activities, brainy breaks and games are included in our learning week.
Cost: $140
Ages: 6-11 years old (boys and girls)
Dates: June 17-21, 2019
Time: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm each day
