Low Carb Cooking With Chef George Stella

The Diabetes Wellness Council is proud to bring back Chef George Stella by popular demand to the Grand Strand in January for a one day only. This event, sponsord by Select Savory Seasonings, will feature a Low Carb Cooking Demo with tastings and book signing. Chef Stella, a professional chef for over thirty years, is an official spokesman for the Junior Leagues’ Kids in the Kitchen initiative to empower youth to make healthy lifestyle choices. He has appeared on numerous television and news shows, including two seasons of his own show, Low Carb and Lovin’ It on the Food Network and has written eight bestselling cookbooks. Connecticut born, he has spent more than half his life in Florida where he lives today with his wife of over 35 years Rachel.
January is always the month when you make promises to yourself to get healthier, lose weight and improve your lifestyle. This event can help you with all of the above as well as help you STICK TO IT! Chef Stella's recipes are not only easy to prepare but incredibly delicious. This is an event you don't want to miss!
All proceeds benefit The Wellness Council for SC, DBA The Diabetes Wellness Council, a local 501c3 nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductable.
Tickets are $50 in advance and $65 at the door (if any remain). Seating is limited so this will be a very intimate cooking demonstration and tasting. There will also be book sales and signings.
