Did you know 2 Volkswagen-sized prehistoric turtles were discovered in the Sawmill Branch (right behind Brandymill), and are now in the State Museum? Dave will show a video of that event. He'll be bringing fossil samples to show off, and you can bring your own for him to identify. And he'll be talking about all kinds of prehistoric creatures like megalodons (ENORMOUS prehistoric sharks) that once swam in the sea that was Summerville. It will be a great day for kids! Museum members: $1. Nonmembers: $3/child; $5/adult. Joining the museum is a bargain! (NOTE: the time may change slightly)
