Summerville

Description

Closed on Sunday & Monday; closed Thanksgiving Day & the day after. Learn about Saul Alexander, a Jewish Russian who came here when he was in his early 20s and became a millionaire; as well as Kitty Spring's story of success in the 1850s. A half-Indian woman who married a white man, they together became wealthy land and store owners. There's the story of the Pine Forest Inn, with 150 guest rooms and 100 rockers on the porch, and there's the aqueduct that still provides water from Summerville to Goose Creek. We have a story for everyone!
