The First Eggs Up ~ Chris applied his vast knowledge of the restaurant business to open the first Eggs Up Grill with his wife Pat in 1986.
They were determined to do things their way and knew it was possible to build a thriving dining business while spending plenty of time with their family and friends. Their new establishment stayed open no more than eight hours a day.
During a visit to Pawleys Island, South Carolina, Chris and Pat fell in love with the climate, the people, and the Lowcountry lifestyle.
