March 17, 2020 - Annual Parade celebrating Ireland's favorite Saint and the contributions Charleston's Irish community has had on Charleston. Celebratory Mass at St. Patrick's Church 8:00 AM, Parade kicks off at 10:00 AM Sharp!
Event Details
Welcome to South Carolina's biggest and best St. Patrick's Day Parade. The Parade kicks off along with thousands of participants and watchers at King and Radcliffe Streets downtown. Come enjoy Irish step dancers, fiddlers, fire trucks, local schools, military units, bands, and local pro teams and mascots. But that's not all, there's more activities around town both day and night. Activities include the annual Tri-Color Flag Raising at City Hall and the singing of the Irish national anthem at 11:30 am.
The College of Charleston's Irish studies program has various events through out the week. Numerous downtown Irish establishments and some just trying to be for the day, entertain some of Charleston's most famous Irish Citizens.
