May 5 is coming up again, and so are the Cinco de Mayo parties. From festivals to specials on margaritas and tacos, we've lined up the best Cinco de Mayo events in Charleston.

Cinco De Mayo Fiesta – LG’s by the Creek

This year on Saturday, May 5, go to LG's by the Creek for a Cinco de Mayo party all night long. Live music starts at 9 p.m., and they have plenty of food and drink specials that will make you want to dance. $3 margaritas and $1 hard tacos are the staple of any Cinco de Mayo party. The music won’t stop until 2 a.m. so be prepared to party into the next morning!

13th Annual Charleston Cinco de Mayo Festival – Charleston Visitor Center

The Cinco de Mayo Festival has been held since 2006, and this year's is sponsored by the Hoffman Law Firm. Held at the Charleston Visitor Center from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., the festival promises more than enough food and entertainment to get you in the spirit. Enjoy Mariachi music and watch a Salsa exhibition by the Holy City Salsa Dance Studio. Save room to try Nacha Mama's Taqueria and Taco Brown!

Tin Roof Cinco De Mayo – Tin Roof Columbia

Live music starts at noon at the Tin Roof in Charleston this Cinco de Mayo. They’ll have margaritas all day and plenty of fresh tacos. The lineup includes Seventy Six and Sunny, The Reggie Sullivan Band, The Alchemystics, City on Down, Adrian Michael Band, and Ropeswing Marathon. Keep the party going with drink and food specials all day long!

Cinco de Mayo on King Bar Crawl

Come out to The Brick to kick off a special Cinco de Mayo bar crawl. With your scorecard and t-shirt, start checking off the participating bars. Enjoy featured drinks including $4 Altos Margaritas, $4 Mexican Standoff Cocktails, and $3 Borracho Shots. Your score card will also give you first priority in crowded bars! Start the party at The Brick between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and finish off with their after-party from 6-9 p.m. Group tickets are $15, regular admission is $20, last minute tickets are $25, and day of tickets are $30.

Cinco de Derby

Since Cinco de Mayo falls on Derby Day this year, it's time to combine holidays for a winning party! Morgan Creek Grill will be hosting a taco bar for just $10 a plate while the derby will be playing on all levels. Pick up your Mint Julep for the race and enjoy live music by Dave Cannon at 5:30 p.m. Make sure to wear your best Derby or Cinco de Mayo-style hat and get out to the Creekside property for an unforgettable day!
